One crisp sunny day last week I noticed the brook had thawed again leaving incredible ice formations in 3 layers along the banks. I went back to get the camera to try to capture the intricate beauty.
If you look closely, you can see the 3 layers - top center, below photo - left center around the tree that's leaning over the water.
"He scatters the frost... He sends out His word and melts them; He causes the wind to blow and the waters flow." Psalm 147:16,18

I praise the Creator who loves to delight us with beauty - amazing that He would bother in something so transcient - there today, gone tomorrow.
Yet that's our lives too. Still He takes great pains in shaping and molding us into a work of art and beauty that more and more reflects Jesus.
"For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus..." Ephesians 2:10
