I am not impressed by the immodesty portrayed (not addressing this to you personally Lizzy). Unfortunately this is just another example of something which has started gradually some years back and has gotten shockingly worse. It really is a shame that Christian weddings have become virually indistinguishable from the world's in their sleezy dress and flaunting of sexuality, rather than extolling the real beauty of femininity in purity by modest dress.... And sadder still that parents are allowing their daughters to parade down sacred aisles in what we used to call "lingerie" tempting all the men who have to watch them....
Maybe pastors need to be discussing this in premarital counselling as well as more generally with young people, fathers... as immodesty in women in the church is becoming worse generally as we get more and more desensitized and dragged down into the standards of our promiscuous sexualized culture.
