What an Amazing Camping Trip

Praise the Lord for the beautiful mild weather for much of our stay,
safety, family and friends visiting, lots of swimming, walking, lots of sunshine all contibuting to a wonderful vacation and leaving me stronger and more rested feeling by the end.
Mom's legs also greatly improved and the skin healed enough that she could actually walk in the water!

The first weekend Maurice&Rachel were camping too just down the road.
I loved seeing Marike's cheery smile greeting me in the morning and the boys checking what we were up to or inviting us to the beach or Anneke bringing us the baby...
Enjoyed hanging out with Anna and visiting with M&R...

Jason & Andrea were there again and we enjoyed time with them!

Chris&Maurice dropped by one afternoon on way home from their stay at ____  Lake - nice surprise!
And we spent an enjoyable day with Heidi & Tim & Lydia for a day

The Stels also surprised us with a couple of lovely visits

And of course the highlight for me was my boyfriend's visit!

Jay took me canoeing in style and comfort :) - in a low reclining beach chair he bought me for this purpose.
Such a special time, special guy!

Here I'm hanging out, enjoying the sunset in a super-easy-to-suspend hammock - which Jay left for me to help me realize his visit wasn't a just a dream :)

Its always a treat to visit Bill &Rita and be treated to their hospitality.

We were very thankful to see how well Bill was doing after his recent heart-surgery! PTL!

And Joan is becoming dearer every year! Thankful that Ken is doing as well as he is (cancer).
Their generous years of keeping my trailer are now over but we hope our friendship/contact will continue.

Sadly some others of our long-time friends have passed on.

Just found out about Gladys after visiting the cemetery! No wonder she never answered her phone!
Missed being able to just drive over a minute any time , her sweet counsel, and praying with her!

and her courageous missionary daughter, Lynda still inspires me - what a beautiful picture of the grace of God in the life of a willing servant.

Dale's son also died suddenly (only 50ish!)
We really miss Melrose still!
Glad to see Pat is still doing ok (after a scare about skin cancer -turned out to be local, benign thankfully)

So thankful that Dad & Mom are still doing quite well considering they're already GGP (Great GrandParents! x2 soon)

Don't they look great here?!
