Josiah Peter Brink!
June 30
We rejoice in God's gracious gift to us of another son! Josiah Peter Brink was born today (June 30th) at 7pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 5oz. We so are thankful for good health for Sharon and baby!

July 9 Josiah's Baptism
Josiah’s baptism was a special time
with our Missionary, Matt VD preaching and his family there too as well as lots
of visitors from both families … so nice to see them all.
It was also a sad time at first (thinking that this might be the last baptism and the last fellowship meal of
our church) until the letter after the service informed us that instead of
voting next week on closing Hope’s doors, we would be voting to call a
pastor!! Wow! PTL, there’s still hope
for Hope! God is coming thru! (And in the following weeks, as we prayed and encouraged each-other to wait & hope once again that the Great Shepherd would provide
for His struggling flock and let her continue to draw in His other sheep still
lost in the wilds of Brampton, our hope & faith rekindled!)
